The broad goal of the Safe City Commission is to help make the Tarrant County area the safest major metropolitan region in the United States. More specifically, we strive to:
Provide a framework for collaboration among Tarrant County’s public safety and crime prevention network.
Foster a culture of nonviolence, especially among our youth.
Analyze data to identify crime trends and evaluate the effectiveness of crime prevention and crime reduction strategies and programs.
Develop and support effective crime prevention and crime reduction programs.
