About Us

Inwood National Bank was organized on April 9, 1964, and was originally located in a small building at 5411 Lovers Lane. By 1968 the bank had outgrown that facility and moved to its present facility, a four story, 45,000 square foot building, located at 7621 Inwood Road.

Today, Inwood National Bank is an independent, locally owned, community bank with fifteen (15) banking offices located throughout North Texas. In addition to our main office at 7621 Inwood Road, we have additional branches in the Oaklawn, Galleria and Pleasant Grove areas, as well as branches in the communities of Commerce, Denton, DeSoto, Duncanville, Fort Worth, Garland, Plano, Richardson, Rockwall, Rowlett, and Wylie. Inwood has grown from its beginning in 1964 to one of the largest independent community banks in Dallas--today over $1.5 Billion and one of the strongest institutions in Texas.

Inwood has developed a niche in the market focusing on our brand of working with commercial businesses which we call, ''wholesale banking'' and on developing a strong working relationship with its customers. Inwood is a leader among community banks in the Metroplex based on its strong capital position and its staff of banking professionals.
