Child Care Associates (CCA) is the largest child development nonprofit organization in North Texas serving over 545,000 vulnerable young children since 1968. CCA’s mission is to assist family success through excellence in early childhood education and development services. CCA has focused for the last 48 years on serving children at-risk for academic underachievement. CCA annually serves approximately 17,000 young children with an operating budget in excess of $70 million. Child Care Management Services is CCA’s largest program offering child care payment assistance to low-income working parents and child care quality improvement activities. CCA also operates 22 child development centers in high poverty neighborhoods serving 300 infants and toddlers and 2,000 preschoolers. CCA further supports kindergarten readiness and educational alignment by offering Head Start in partnership with Pre-Kindergarten programs with Uplift Charter School and with 8 Independent School Districts (ISDs) including Fort Worth, Arlington, Birdville, H-E-B, Everman, White Settlement, Keller and Grapevine-Colleyville.
