Business Development Specialist
Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Business Operations & Development Manager to oversee a wide range of responsibilities, including trade show representation, team leadership, content creation, financial tracking, and strategic business growth. This role is ideal for a self-starter with strong organizational skills, creative marketing instincts, and a passion for driving results.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development (60%)
- Represent the company at trade shows and networking events to build relationships
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach and partnerships
- Support lead generation efforts across digital and in-person channels
Marketing & Content (30%)
- Create and manage social media video content to promote brand awareness and engagement
- Coordinate content calendars and oversee platform performance metrics
Leadership & Team Management (10%)
- Lead a team of 3-5 employees as we grow, providing clear direction, coaching, and accountability
- Foster a positive team culture focused on productivity, service, and growth
Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development, marketing, or operations
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- 1–2 years of hands-on experience with QuickBooks, CRM platforms, and social media/content tools
- Ability to travel for trade shows and events as needed
