POSITION SUMMARYThe hospice aide is a member of the interdisciplinary group who works under supervision to provide personal hygiene care to hospice patients, following the patient’s Plan of Care.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Provide personal care including baths, back rubs, oral hygiene, shampoos and changing bed linen as often as assigned.Meet safety needs of the patient using equipment safely and properly (foot stools, side rails, O2, etc.)Deliver routine medical supplies as needed to patients.
