The 42nd Annual GM Financial Parade of Lights

The GM Financial Parade of Lights will brighten up the streets of Downtown Fort Worth for its 42^nd year at 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, marking the City of Fort Worth’s official kickoff to the holiday season. With a sold-out crowd expected for this year’s “Holiday Wishes”-themed parade, attendees are encouraged to purchase reserved “Street Seats,” which start at $15 for children and $17.50 for adults.
 
Year after year, North Texas-based nonprofit organizations, businesses, schools, art and cultural groups, and more have dazzled crowds with their expertly crafted floats, sparkling vintage cars, festive horse-drawn carriages, spirited marching bands, and carolers as they parade along the 1.59-mile route. Carrying on the long-standing tradition, this year's parade will conclude with a special appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus on the specially designed, LED-lit, grand finale float.
