Lynn Spalding, Archivist of Tarrant County Archives will be speaking.
During WWI, Americans spent their leisure time seeing movies, going to vaudeville shows, dancing to popular music in dance halls and reading books. Ms. Spalding focuses on Americans' consumption of popular culture during the war years and provides examples of regional cultural themes.
